Dakota Awarded Cybersecurity, IT Management Contracts with the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR)

Dakota Consulting was awarded two contracts to provide cybersecurity and information management services for the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR). One contract award gives Dakota responsibility for implementing and maintaining compliance with Federal cybersecurity and privacy requirements for the Bureau.  Dakota will assist BOR with its Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance effort and provide security services and support to BOR’s system owners, in accordance with the National Institutes of Science and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Dakota also won a contract to assist the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) with the implementation and compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements.  Working closely with BOR’s Risk and Portfolio Management Office and Security personnel, Dakota will provide a range of FISMA services to include the development/improvement of processes, procedures, standards, and templates.  Dakota also will provide guidance on the agency’s security control implementation to advance BOR’s cybersecurity maturity initiatives.
