Dakota Dayton Remembers 9/11 with Environmental Restoration Community Service Project

September 11, 2018

Employees of Dakota’s Dayton, Ohio office observed the anniversary of those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001 by working together on an environmental restoration community project at Cox Arboretum, a serene city park. The employees, who provide services for Dakota’s U.S. Air Force contract, participated in a company-sanctioned community service project as part of the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. They assisted the arboretum by clearing invasive honeysuckle and other brush from acreage that includes majestic trees and plant life. They also planted more than 100 different flower species to further enhance the grounds of the serene park.
